About me
Public Health Nutrition has been my passion for many years, starting from the remote villages, teaching mothers on healthy meals and proper nutrition for their families.Coming to the United States, worked with the City of Chicago Department of Health as a Coordinator of WIC, Nutritionist with HIV/AIDS Program and with DFSS, as a Nutritionist for Head Start and Child Care Programs.Currently, a Nutrition Consultant of different Head Start/ Child Care agencies and for Residential Facilities of Intellectually Delayed Adults in the Metro Chicago Area.I hope to bring some of my experiences and knowledge to the DFSS sites so we can serve our Chicago Children to a healthier and better future!
