Leslie Holycross is an early childhood trainer, consultant, and lifelong educator dedicated to supporting family childcare providers. After 35years as a public-school teacher, she now focuses on empowering caregivers through practical, relationship-centered training grounded in real-life experience. Leslie is the creator of the B.L.I.S.S. framework— Build, Listen, Invest, Share, Strive, a simple and meaningful approach for strengthening connections, supporting social-emotional development, and creating joyful, responsive environments for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.Known for her warm, down-to-earth teaching style, Leslie blends research-based practices with the heart of a teacher, offering strategies that feel doable and encouraging. As a former foster parent and adoptive mother, she brings deep compassion and understanding to her work, believing strongly in the power of relationships, reflective practice, and nurturing care to transform the lives of young children and the providers who serve them.
